OVERVIEW

Matrik Group is an international student recruitment agency that helps students secure university placements across the UK, USA, South Asia, and Europe. 

Founded by our long-standing client, Matrik Group is an extension of their original company, British University, which focuses on student consultancy in the UK. With a proven track record of placing students in top law, economics, medicine, engineering, and business programs, Matrik Group needed a new platform to support its global expansion and reach new markets.
The objective was to create a new brand identity and domain and launch a new international student recruitment website to help Matrik Group expand into global markets while maintaining the essence of British University’s branding and user experience. We aimed to build a credible, SEO-optimised website that serves as a professional digital presence and a modern calling card for the company. The primary focus was to open new sales channels to engage prospective students, including contact forms and application links.

CHALLENGE

One of the main challenges was aligning our creative vision with the client’s expectations. Initially, the client provided a lot of freedom, which led to a first iteration that didn’t quite meet their vision. The lack of communication during the design phase meant that the project needed significant revisions. 
This experience reinforced the importance of continuous feedback and open dialogue throughout the project to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.

SOLUTION

We approached the new international student recruitment website project similarly to our previous ones, using WordPress with Oxygen CMS for a robust, SEO-friendly foundation. We ensured that the design was modern yet reflected the established branding of British University. Security features like CAPTCHA and anti-spam tools were implemented, alongside GDPR-compliant plugins. We provided video-based training for the client's team to help them manage content effectively and independently.

OUTCOME

The new website provided an effective platform for Matrik Group’s brand expansion. It serves as a modern, professional digital presence, fully optimised for search engines and easy to manage for their internal team.
  • The client expressed satisfaction with the results, particularly noting how the branding for Matrik Group effectively built on British University's existing elements. This helped maintain brand continuity while giving Matrik Group a distinct identity for global expansion.
  • Thanks to WordPress and Oxygen CMS, the client now has a user-friendly system, and they expressed plans to implement a CRM and other tools to further grow their operations.
