British University is a complex business that interacts with long-established educational institutions, British colleges and international students. This called for a traditional and content-heavy design that was also sleek, lively and easy to navigate.
Operating mainly from word of mouth and via institutions, BU didn't have much of a web presence before they approached us, so it was on us to ensure they looked great online, with an offering that felt credible. We also needed to bring in high-quality visitors targeted through SEO. This required a significant amount of content development, keywords and custom plugins.
Developed in close collaboration with the client and a focus group, the site we developed was attractive to users and intuitive to use. On the business side, admins found they could fully utilise the back-end with ease in the ways they required.
The project included an early-on SEO setup package, which built up search engine ranking using multiple techniques including integration with Google Analytics and custom plugins.
The new website is already having a positive impact on the business.British University found they had a significant number of visitors even in the early stages of launch. Thanks to Google Analytics, they are able to measure and analyse site traffic to their advantage. BU admins can now enrol new students online and are able to update the site on a daily basis.
Immediately after delivering this project, the founder of BU hired us to develop a new site for another project, indicating his satisfaction with our work. We will include it in the portfolio as soon as it's finished.
